[DENMARK] Blue de Gênes is a denim label taking its inspiration from the origin of jeans: the history of jeans started in Genoa, Italy, more than 400 years ago. At that time, the harbour workers in Genoa used a robust fabric called “Geanes fustian”, made of Arab cotton, for working clothes and sailcloth. The material was dyed blue with indigo, very strong and thus well suited for work pants for these hardworking dockers and sailors. This fabric was exported to other countries, and eventually known as the Blue from Genoa, or in French "Bleu de Gênes" since Genoa at that time belonged to France. The English adaptation of the expression then became “Blue Jeans”.

[SWEDEN] One early morning in 2009 two Swedish friends woke up in a hotel room on the other side of the Atlantic while their baggage with all their everyday favorites was, well, not there. Bread & Boxers started as an extension of the mini bar, a life saver for light travelers, or if you will, room service at its best. [DENMARK] Bulbul Watches was founded in 2013 by globetrotting design-enthusiast, Jacob Juul. After an extensive design process spanning several years, the uniquely asymmetric Pebble watch was finally launched into the attentive media spotlight of the heritage-driven watch industry. The classic yet modern Facette watch soon followed, and today the Copenhagen-based company has spread its ambitious wings over multiple languages, nationalities and continents, much like the nomadic bird that the company is named after. Fabric Brand is produced using only the most authentic, handcrafted products from Japan’s most historical area, the Kojima district. Fabric Brand is produced in the traditional Japanese custom every step in the process; blending cotton, spinning yarns and weaving. The unique approach uses both the handcrafted features and a good translation of mixing modern and traditional methods, slow spinning, original shuttle looms and slow dying techniques. Traditional Sashiko fabrics are used in the garments as well, typically in the back yoke. [ITALY] Our story begins in 1908 with a great passion fostered by our founder and forefather for shaving and for personal care. [USA] Nialaya Jewelry is an American designer jewelry company founded in 2009 by Danish designer Jannik Olander. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. While visiting a coastal city in India, Jannik met a local shaman named Nialaya who encouraged him to pursue his dreams and stop chasing monetary gain. Jannik profoundly reflected upon this, and upon returning from his trip he developed a jewelry company deeply rooted in spirituality and the promotion of energy healing. He named the company 'Nialaya' as a tribute to the man who provided him with life-changing insight. Jannik began designing and creating beaded macrame necklaces and bracelets in the garage of his Hollywood Hills home. The slogan 'Handmade in Hollywood' was then developed, as each piece of jewelry was strung together by hand without the use of machinery or mass production. Each precious and semi-precious stone was used to stimulate spiritual healing powers; each finished item was then purified with a cleansing sage. The first Nialaya collection was sold to a renowned Beverly Hills boutique where it caught the eyes of famous faces. The company quickly gained notoriety with Hollywood celebrities and has grown to become one of the largest celebrity endorsed brands.

[USA] Recently accepted into the cfda, victor lytvinenko + sarah yarborough started raleigh denim workshop in 2007 in their hometown, raleigh, nc. the husband-wife team learned the history and techniques of traditional american jeansmaking through a series of informal apprenticeships with former factory workers, patternmakers, and mechanics throughout the state. raleigh denim workshop's jeans, collection, and accessories, are all produced in the united states with a focus on design, process, material, and craft.
[THE NETHERLANDS] Scotch & Soda has been around since the ‘80s, but the Amsterdam-based fashion brand as we know it today originates in a brave new start in 2001, when three new owners joined forces and brought to the table their broad experience and shared love of making great apparel. After Scotch & Soda was re-launched in Spring Summer 2002, Scotch Shrunk was added in Spring Summer 2008. Our line for boys channels the grown up Scotch & Soda collection. This time, often referred to as the Elizabethan age gave way to much progress, innovation and a new way of life, one of euphoria and confidence. Born from these changes was a new breed of English Gentleman. He was sporty, international, dashing, and daring yet extremely well-groomed at all times. It was in this watershed year that Creightons PLC premiered its exclusive line of St James of London all-natural men’s grooming products, bringing to light a higher level of shaving regimen for men. At its inception, the St James of London brand was only distributed within Great Britain and after a decade, production ceased for reasons unknown.
[CANADA] In 2011, Shane Vitaly Foran answered his inner voice. Life was grinding him down. Craving a breather from a busy work and school schedule, he made a pilgrimage to Ubud, a quaint Bali town teeming with craftspeople. He sketched his first piece of jewelry there — a two-finger ring made from black wood. When he returned to Toronto, his skateboarder, tattoo artist and DJ friends clamoured after the spare architectural pieces he brought back, so he decided to merge his business smarts with his newfound artistic outlet. Fast-forward four years, and everyone is wearing Vitaly. Over 400 fashion retailers in Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia carry the brand’s unmistakable pieces.
