BLUE DE GENES

[DENMARK] Blue de Gênes is a denim label taking its inspiration from the origin of jeans: the history of jeans started in Genoa, Italy, more than 400 years ago. At that time, the harbour workers in Genoa used a robust fabric called “Geanes fustian”, made of Arab cotton, for working clothes and sailcloth. The material was dyed blue with indigo, very strong and thus well suited for work pants for these hardworking dockers and sailors. This fabric was exported to other countries, and eventually known as the Blue from Genoa, or in French "Bleu de Gênes" since Genoa at that time belonged to France. The English adaptation of the expression then became “Blue Jeans”.

We offer a wide variety of men’s and women’s shoes, sneakers, boots and other designer footwear.

BREAD & BOXERS

[SWEDEN] One early morning in 2009 two Swedish friends woke up in a hotel room on the other side of the Atlantic while their baggage with all their everyday favorites was, well, not there. Although that day did not start out very well, by nightfall Bread & Boxers was founded. Bread & Boxers started as an extension of the mini bar, a life saver for light travelers, or if you will, room service at its best. We successfully launch of a line of underwear favorites, including boxers, panties and socks, at first only accessible in hotel rooms. But soon emails from hotel guests started to drop in with inquires on where to buy their new favorite underwear a bit closer to home. Since 2011, an extended collection of everyday basics can be found in selected stores throughout Europe, the US and Asia.

BULBUL WATCHES

[DENMARK] Bulbul Watches was founded in 2013 by globetrotting design-enthusiast, Jacob Juul. After an extensive design process spanning several years, the uniquely asymmetric Pebble watch was finally launched into the attentive media spotlight of the heritage-driven watch industry. The classic yet modern Facette watch soon followed, and today the Copenhagen-based company has spread its ambitious wings over multiple languages, nationalities and continents, much like the nomadic bird that the company is named after. Bulbul can be summed up as an extension of the company’s passions and interests; the forward-thinking aesthetic and playful, Persian name reflects its founder’s inherent love of having the freedom to follow one’s intuition, his restless fascination with traveling and his fondness for interacting with a diverse spectrum of cultural impulses and philosophies. Likewise, the understated design philosophy grows out of Danish design trio KiBiSi’s ambitious, creative quest to actualize products that last for generations – future classics that our grandkids might one day inherit and appreciate.

Fabric Brand is produced using only the most authentic, handcrafted products from Japan’s most historical area, the Kojima district. Fabric Brand is produced in the traditional Japanese custom every step in the process; blending cotton, spinning yarns and weaving.  The unique approach uses both the handcrafted features and a good translation of mixing modern and traditional methods, slow spinning, original shuttle looms and slow dying techniques. Traditional Sashiko fabrics are used in the garments as well, typically in the back yoke. We are very happy to bring the combination of this Japanese heritage craftsmanship into all Fabric Brand products.

GANT

[USA] From the outset, GANT was known for the quality of its shirts. In the early days, when the company was in the business of supplying shirts to other retailers, a discreet GANT trademark was added: a little diamond with a “G” in it stamped on the tail of the shirt. This mark was the customer’s assurance of quality just as much as the retailer’s label inside the collar. By the mid-1950s, the Diamond G had become part of the American menswear history – a distinctive sign of superior quality that helped make the signature shirts coveted best sellers, with demand far outstripping supply.

HAPPY SOCKS

[SWEDEN] It all started under the cloud-ridden April sky of yet another belated Swedish spring in 2008. Today Happy Socks are sold in more than 70 countries and on every continent. Happy Socks features an almost endless variety of models and designs, using a broad spectrum of color combinations and original patterns. MONDIAL 1908

[ITALY] Our story begins in 1908 with a great passion fostered by our founder and forefather for shaving and for personal care. In that nascent period, in his small artisan workshop in the centre of Florence, he started to produce his first masterpieces: his extraordinary shaving brushes, made entirely by hand with great skill and precision, and increasingly refining his technique with an ever greater knowledge of his materials. Following his brushes, he then started to work with precious woods to create some extraordinary razors. His abilities started to become known the world over, so much so that prestigious names abroad would commission him to design some magnificent shaving sets for them.

NIALAYA JEWELRY

[USA] Nialaya Jewelry is an American designer jewelry company founded in 2009 by Danish designer Jannik Olander. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. While visiting a coastal city in India, Jannik met a local shaman named Nialaya who encouraged him to pursue his dreams and stop chasing monetary gain. Jannik profoundly reflected upon this, and upon returning from his trip he developed a jewelry company deeply rooted in spirituality and the promotion of energy healing. He named the company 'Nialaya' as a tribute to the man who provided him with life-changing insight. Jannik began designing and creating beaded macrame necklaces and bracelets in the garage of his Hollywood Hills home. The slogan 'Handmade in Hollywood' was then developed, as each piece of jewelry was strung together by hand without the use of machinery or mass production. Each precious and semi-precious stone was used to stimulate spiritual healing powers; each finished item was then purified with a cleansing sage. The first Nialaya collection was sold to a renowned Beverly Hills boutique where it caught the eyes of famous faces. The company quickly gained notoriety with Hollywood celebrities and has grown to become one of the largest celebrity endorsed brands.

SCOTCH & SODA

[THE NETHERLANDS] Scotch & Soda has been around since the ‘80s, but the Amsterdam-based fashion brand as we know it today originates in a brave new start in 2001, when three new owners joined forces and brought to the table their broad experience and shared love of making great apparel. After Scotch & Soda was re-launched in Spring Summer 2002, Scotch Shrunk was added in Spring Summer 2008. Our line for boys channels the grown up Scotch & Soda collection. Pretty soon Shrunk made waves no-one at Scotch had dared to dream of. This success was soon followed by the launch of a women’s collection: Maison Scotch entered the market with the Spring Summer 2010 collection, celebrating classic French style and adding a touch of tough street wear elements.

ST JAMES OF LONDON

[ENGLAND]  It was the dawning of a new era in 1953, when all of Great Britain had raised itself up from the ruins of the second World War and young Queen symbolized peace and prosperity. This time, often referred to as the Elizabethan age gave way to much progress, innovation and a new way of life, one of euphoria and confidence. Born from these changes was a new breed of English Gentleman. He was sporty, international, dashing, and daring yet extremely well-groomed at all times. It was in this watershed year that Creightons PLC premiered its exclusive line of St James of London all-natural men’s grooming products, bringing to light a higher level of shaving regimen for men. At its inception, the St James of London brand was only distributed within Great Britain and after a decade, production ceased for reasons unknown.

VITALY DESIGNS

[CANADA] In 2011, Shane Vitaly Foran answered his inner voice. Life was grinding him down. Craving a breather from a busy work and school schedule, he made a pilgrimage to Ubud, a quaint Bali town teeming with craftspeople. He sketched his first piece of jewelry there — a two-finger ring made from black wood. When he returned to Toronto, his skateboarder, tattoo artist and DJ friends clamoured after the spare architectural pieces he brought back, so he decided to merge his business smarts with his newfound artistic outlet. Fast-forward four years, and everyone is wearing Vitaly. Over 400 fashion retailers in Canada, the US, Europe, Asia and Australia carry the brand’s unmistakable pieces. Since graduating from wood, there have been countless new designs that experiment with stainless steel, titanium, tungsten and ceramics.
